The Clearmont Community Center fundraiser raffle draw was held on Sunday, Nov. 1 at the Community Center.

Board members Brenda Foster, Amy Rowe, Chris Schock, Mark Weber and Mike Buss were present for the drawing and to turn in their raffle tickets and funds raised.

“The money raised is to keep the Community Center open,”  Chairman Foster said. “The Center also houses the Clearmont Branch Library, and offers meeting rooms and rooms for various community events.”

“For years the fundraiser has included a supper and a live auction.  Due to Covid-19 the board decided to just do a raffle,”  Foster added.  “Thanks to the raffle and a large donation, the Center made a little over $8800 dollars in 2020, which is comparable to the fund raising from other years.”

“The board would like to thank all those who purchased raffle tickets and donated items to the raffle and money to help keep the Center open for another year,”  she said.

Prizes included two handmade quilts; a gift certificate for a two night stay at South Fork Inn; a $500 cash prize from Tri-County Gas as well as other items.
