Ucross Fellows kick off fall Ucross Spotlight

A conversation between Ucross Fellows Ayad Akhtar and Suki Kim will kick off the fall series of Ucross Spotlight to be aired via Zoom next week.

The event starts at 6 p.m. on Oct. 1.

Akhtar is a novelist and playwright whose recently released “Homeland Elegies” has been described as “an immigrant saga like no other … the book of the year.”

Kim is a journalist and author whose works include The New York Times bestseller “Without You” and “There is No Us: Undercover Among the Sons of North Korea’s Elite.”

She is a Contributing Editor for The New York Republic with honors including a Guggenheim Fellowship, a New America National Fellow/Berlin Prize and a Radcliffe Fellowship.
