Stevenson, Grammy nominee and Dove Award winner for “Eye of the Storm,” played for an hour-and-a-half for a crowd estimated at 120 fans at The Rock Church Saturday, May 2. 2026. He played in Dickinson, N.D., May 1. This was his final stop before returning to Tennessee for a break.

The reason Sheridan was chosen traces back to his Facebook page where he asked fans to email him if they think he might play in their town. He told viewers that he enjoyed playing concerts in small town America. Theresa Adell emailed him with this message, come to Sheridan, we named our son after your song.

Theresa said they had been home a week since her baby boy was born VBAC in the Billings’ birthing center and they still hadn’t decided on a name. She said that “Amadeo” was one name on their list, but she and her husband Scott weren’t sure. She remembered one night as she snuggled her new boy pondering a name, Scott came into their bedroom, playing Stevenson’s song called “Amadeo (Still My God)” on his phone. Theresa realized she had heard that song on the worship channel while she was laboring but didn’t realize it said “Amadeo” in the song! She said both Scott and her both cried and knew at that moment “Amadeo” was to be his name.

“You are still my God, You’re still my Rock, my only hope Lord, You’re all I’ve Got. In every valley or mountaintop, I’ll say Hallelujah You’re still my God”
