Amie Holt CC DON Reports on New Tech, Census Numbers

The Director of Nursing (DON) at the Amie Holt Care Center in Buffalo, JoAnn Kay, in her recent report to the hospital board, talked about new technology that will keep residents safe, and gave the latest census numbers for the facility.

Kay said the new technology is a Wandering Management System designed to keep residents from getting outside unsupervised.

She explained how the technology will keep residents safe.

The company installing the new system will be on-site the week of June 1.

Kay, in her written report to the board, said the census as of the report was 37 residents, with the average daily census in February at 38.43 residents, down from 39.94 in January.

The capacity for residents at the care center is 44.
