Senator Lummis Weighs-In on Partial Government Shutdown

The partial government shutdown that began on February 14 continues. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter recently spoke with U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis about the ongoing impasse.

A potential deal in the U.S. Senate to end the partial shutdown stalled Wednesday as Senate Majority Leader John Thune said the  Senate Democrats’ latest counter offer “is not even close to being real.” Senator Cynthia Lummis offers her thoughts on the Senate stalemate.

Lummis also talked about the Senate confirmation and swearing-in of Markwayne Mullin as the new Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security.
