Barrasso Praises Markwayne Mullin to Lead the Department of Homeland Security

U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-WY,) Senate Majority Whip, spoke prior to voting to confirm Senator Markwayne Mullin to be Secretary of Homeland Security. Senator Barrasso said Markwayne Mullin is ready to lead and he is ready to serve with seriousness and character and that he will be a leader who makes our country safer.

The Senate, on 54 to 45 vote Monday night, confirmed Mullin as DHS Secretary. President Trump announced on March 5 that he was replacing DHS Secretary Kristi Noem with Markwayne Mullin.
