The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has opened the applications for their many camp offerings.

Nine camps will be held this summer at the Whiskey Mountain Conservation Camp near Dubois, with programs designed for a variety of ages and interests. Camp offerings include Adventure Camp, Youth Camps, Hunter Education Camp, Fishing Camp, Becoming an Outdoors-Woman (BOW), Beyond BOW and the Wyoming Collegiate Conservation Academy. Applications for each camp being offered close Tuesday, March 31.

The overnight camps feature semi-private cabins, catered meals and hands-on outdoor activities such as fly-fishing, archery and hiking. Officials say the programs are designed to teach responsible resource use while giving participants the skills and confidence to explore the outdoors.

Most camps cost $150 per person, while the Wyoming Collegiate Conservation Academy is offered at a reduced rate of $50.
