Application Period Open for Johnson County Scholarships

Applications for the Johnson County Scholarships are now open, according to Commissioner’s Assistant Kristan Kenyon, who talked to the commissioners at their Tuesday meeting.

According to the Johnson County website, the Johnson County Commissioners, through the University of Wyoming, have three scholarships available for graduating seniors from Buffalo, Kaycee, and New West High School planning to attend the University of Wyoming or a Wyoming Community College.

Scholarship Applications are due in the County Commissioners’ Office no later than April 30, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.

Second Year Scholarship Applications are due in the County Commissioners’ Office no later than June 26, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.

The scholarship form can be downloaded from the Johnson County web page at www.johnsoncowy.gov or from either of the High School counselors.
