Registration for Habitat Women Build March 16
Habitat for Humanity of the Eastern Bighorns will host its annual Women Build event beginning in May.
Registration for the Women Build event opens on Monday, March 16. During a four day period, Habitat transforms their build sites into places of friendship, empowerment and collective hope. This event provides a chance for women in the Sheridan Region to learn new skills or brush up on old ones in a supportive environment, all while making a life-changing impact within their community.
According to Habitat for Humanity of the Eastern Big Horns, here in Sheridan approximately 80 women will join forces with 17,000 women nationwide to create a tangible impact in their communities.
The goal this year is to raise $10,000 to support affordable housing in Sheridan County.
Executive Director Christine Dieterich announced the opening registration date during an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse.
