Senator Barrasso Praises Save America Act
The U.S. Senate Tuesday voted 51 to 48 to open up debate on the Save America Act, the contentious Voter ID bill that has cleared the House and is expected to spark some heated debate from both sides of the aisle in the coming days. Prior to the vote, U.S. Senator John Barrasso, Senate Majority Whip, spoke in favor of the Save America Act.
The Save America Act would require voters to show approved photo identification to vote and proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote. The Senate is expected to continue to debate the bill throughout this week and possibly into next week.

A vast majority of Americans support the Save Act, senator, so do whatever is needed to do to make it happen!

The ONLY people opposed to this, much needed act, are those who want to keep on cheating in elections.
If we evict all illegals, we will return to honest elections and be able to take our country back from the criminal invaders, being used by the criminal (ie Dem) insiders already here, who are bilking American taxpayers for Trillions!

You seemed to forget to mention the part about it making voting much more difficult for married women or women who have been adopted
Please stop being deceptive. Also, the bill requires people to have both their passport and birth certificate present when you go to vote. It’s a scam to discourage people from moving, changing political parties, and married women from voting.

Incorrect sir. Just take your passport or birth certificate to the DMV and get the star on your drivers license. Then just show you drivers the next time you vote. It’s so simple even a dem can do it.
It’s not more difficult for women or racial minorities either. That’s a bogus dumb (D) deceptive talking point.
The only scam is the decades long dim-controlled blue city/state cheating that is now being documented and will soon be prosecuted.

BOGUS ?? The only bogus info is that there is “Proof” of cheating on elections that is being documented and soon to be proscuted.. Trump has been saying that over 10 years but NO PROOF HAS EVER COME FORTH. IN FACT, ALL THOSE BOVINE LEAVINGS HAVE BEEN DEBUNKED. Come on Denny, put up or shut up.. What proof do you have????

If this bill is passed (which it will not be because it doesn’t have enough support) the GOP will still lose in the mid-terms and also in 2028

Yes, that may be so. The commies have many ways to cheat and steal elections. We can only hope that the truth will prevail and that good will conquer the evil that threatens America.

Why is it that the only time there’s fraudulent voting is when a democrat wins. From the way things have been going the last two years, I think the fraudulent voting, was the last 2 times the Republicans won?. you can tell that just by the horrible condition the whole world is in.

America is, by all definitions, a center/right country. Therefore, the only times the left “wins” is when they have rigged and then stolen an election. 2020 was nothing short of an electoral coup.
And every day, the DOJ discovers more and more proof of election fraud. Just give them time. The truth will come out and the guilty will be imprisoned.

Fraudulent voting is of course when Trump loses. It is sad that people believe him when the proof is Just the opposite. Denny is a prime example.

The SAVE Act claims to solve the (nonexistent) problem of non-citizens voting. Federal law and state law in every state already prohibits non-citizens from voting in federal elections and there has been no proof that non-citizens are voting in meaningful numbers.
So, what is the SAVE Act really doing? The bill would require states to turn over their complete, unredacted voter rolls quarterly to DHS (with no restrictions on what DHS can do with the data) to search the rolls and flag registered “non-citizen” voters for removal. Missouri and Texas have already turned over their rolls to DHS, and of the voters flagged as non-citizens, as many as HALF of those were citizens. There is no requirement in the SAVE Act to inform registered voters that they have been removed from the rolls. If a citizen has “accidentally” been removed from the rolls they would be required to re-registration IN PERSON with passport (which half of Americans don’t have) or certified copy of a birth certificate. If the person has had a name change, the bill requires states to set up a process to deal with those situations within 10 days of the bill’s passage but provides no funding or consistent rules between states. And why do states have to turn over their rolls quarterly? Well, it just so happens that the third quarter ends right around the time of early voting begins in many places and by the time they realize they have been removed, it may be too late to register. Without restrictions on how voter data is used by DHS, the bill sets up the process to purge massive amounts of people from rolls without notice and makes registering and voting more difficult for millions of people.
Republicans keep calling this a Voter ID bill, but that’s a lie. Every Democrat in Congress has already voter for a national ID requirement to vote and not a single Republican joined them. Remember that when the Republicans use that in their campaign ads from now until the midterms

You have to be an American citizen to vote in an American election. Simple.

First of all, we don’t have many problems with our electronics in Wyoming. You should be able to show any photo ID and be able to vote. If someone wants to challenge it, then let them do so. We have too many real problems to waste our time on problems that don’t exist.

If its not a problem then showing ID, won’t be a problem either.
