SAGE Winter Art Classes

Published

Executive Director of SAGE Community Arts, Jill Benson made an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to talk about its Winter 2026 class schedule, offering a variety of opportunities for artists of all ages and skill levels to explore creative expression.

The lineup includes traditional art-making like watercolor with Randy Stout and for the comic book lover, a class on how to create comics with Bret Norwood and a vision boards workshop led by Kelly Morris. The classes run through the winter and early spring.

In addition to adult classes, SAGE is hosting youth-focused programming including an After School Art Club for grades three through five that meets weekly at 1:30 – 3 p.m. on Fridays at SAGE.

Supplies are included for some sessions, and prospective students can find full descriptions and member and non-member costs through SAGE online here.

Benson said the expanded class offerings reflect a commitment to making art accessible to the broader community and fostering lifelong creative learning.

Registration for several classes is open, and some workshops fill quickly due to limited enrollment.
