Red Grade Road Restricted to Tracked Vehicles Beginning Friday Morning

Grooming operations are ramping up along Red Grade Road and Forest Service Road 26. As a result, to ensure safety, prevent resource damage and prevent damage to the groomed trails, Red Grade Road will be restricted to tracked vehicles only beginning at 7:00 am on Friday, January 9. 

Wheeled vehicles will be prohibited until Red Grade Road is fully open in the Spring of 2026. The Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office and Sheridan County Road and Bridge would like to thank the public for their cooperation and understanding.
