Buffalo Council Approves Fuel Dispensing Agreements

Buffalo’s City Council considered the extension of an existing agreement between the city and the Johnson County School District, for the fuel dispensing facility used by the Joint Powers Board.

Mayor Shane Schrader and City Attorney Dennis Kirven discussed the agreement further.

According to Kirven, the school district is also responsible for the bidding to purchase fuel at the lowest possible price for the dispensary.

He said once the council approves the agreement, he will send it to the school district for their approval and then to the State Attorney General’s Office for approval.

The council voted to approve and accept the agreement.
