An ordinance to rezone several different properties in north Sheridan was an item of consideration at Monday night’s Sheridan City Council business meeting. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

Rezone Ordinance Approved on First Reading

The City Council gave first reading approval of an ordinance that rezones nine different properties from B-1 Business District to B-2 Business District. City Planner Kelly Schroeder the properties are located on Canfield Street, Kooi Street and North Main Street.

The ordinance must be approved two more times by the City Council before it takes effect. A resolution allowing for a utility easement vacation at 130 West Kooi Street was approved by the Council. The vacation was a request from Seven Pillars Resources, LLC, to vacate a 16-foot utility easement on the northwest side of lot one of the Mack Subdivision.
