Story Wide Yard sale June 1

Story resident Mark Caudle and Story Women’s Club member Sue Shrum made an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to invite the public to the 2025 Story Wide Yard Sale.

The Story Wide Yard has been happening for decades. Events surrounding the events have helped to fund the Story Women’s Club.

Shrum said the Story Woman’s Club Biscuits and Gravy Fundraiser, starting at 7 a.m., will run until the food is gone. This event will help to maintain the Story Women’s Club building. The log structure built in 1930 is critical to the 900 residents who call this unincorporated town home, serving as an unofficial town hall.

The Story Volunteer Firefighters Fundraiser will begin at 11 a.m. and include grilled hot dogs and hamburgers. This portion of the event helps to fund operating costs of the critical Story Fire Station.
