Spring in Wyoming means the return of colorful flowers, green fields of agriculture and the bright orange of safety cones.

Construction season is in full swing. Wyoming Department of Transportation road crews are repairing sections of highway and Interstate. City crews are repairing the ice damage of potholes and the Sheridan County crews are out smoothing washboard surfaces.

Sheridan County Sheriff Levi Dominguez is asking the public to slow down when coming upon these vital employees who keep residents moving.

Sheriff Dominguez asks residents who choose to head into the mountains to please be responsible and turn around should the roads prove to be so saturated traveling begins to cause ruts in the roadway.
