Jo Co Commission Allocates Funding for Chamber Visitor’s Center

The Johnson County Commission considered allocating funds to help the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce open and ioperate their visitor center on Highway 16 east of the city.

Commission Chair Bill Novotny gave more details.

The commission voted to award $6,000 in unallocated One-Percent Funds to the chamber for their visitor information center.

The Buffalo City Council was expected to contribute another $6,000 at their meeting later Tuesday evening.
