License Agreement No. 2431LA between Montana-Dakota Utilities (MDU) and Sheridan County was considered by the county commission during their last regular meeting.

The application was for an overhead installation of an electrical line on County Road #120A, a/k/a Ranchester Five Mile Extension.

The fee paid to the county was $600 plus a charge of $.25 per foot at 60 feet for a total charge of $615.

The installation will provide electric service to Lot16 in the Tongue River Valley Ranch Subdivision.

The commission ratified the agreement in their consent agenda.

The residents of Sheridan can no longer afford the keep carrying the heavy burden of the highest County Sales Tax (6%) in Wyoming. A majority now live paycheck-to-paycheck and we simply have to lower the sales tax to 5%, just to survive.
We need to vote “Against” re-imposing the 1% Special Purpose Sales Tax, (Cap Tax) so we can all enjoy the many benefits of a lower, more affordable 5% sales tax.
And after a couple years of living with a lower 5% sales tax, if we don’t like keeping more money in our own pockets, we can always go back to carrying the old 6 pound ball-and-chain.
Lower Taxes are a good idea, who’s time has come in Sheridan!
    Lower Taxes Are Always Better!
