Sheridan County Commissioners Christi Haswell and Tom Ringley made an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse in part to discuss aid efforts for agricultural producers affected by the wildfires that have burned over 440,000 acres in northern Wyoming and southern Montana.
Haswell said it has been mostly grass roots efforts providing hay and fencing relief to the areas affected by the wildfires. Although he couldn’t appear on the program, Supervisor of the Sheridan County Weed and Pest Control District, Walker Billings, asked Haswell to direct anyone who needs relief to the office.

Ringley took the opportunity to thank those that battled the blazes and Sheridan County Fire Warden Chris Thomas, recommending contact with the Fire Warden’s office concerning documentation for relief may be a good idea.
