Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on March 31, 1920.

One of two new linotypes purchased by the Sheridan Enterprise arrived today and is being unloaded at the train depot. The new linotypes are to handle the enlarged news service that will be made available to the newspaper with the installation of a full-based Associated Press wire on May 3.

The Mountain States Telephone & Telegraph company will spend $175,000 in constructing a direct toll line between Sheridan and Billings. A crew of a dozen men started on the work this week.

John Weir of Story is a visitor in Sheridan today.
