Solutions Way Rezone

Details of an ordinance to rezone property on Solutions Way was an item of discussion at the recent study session of the Sheridan City Council. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

The request is to rezone a 3.4 acre parcel at 1600 Solutions Way from B-2 Business District to Higher Education District. City Public Works Director Hanns Mercer said the property is the old Emit Manufacturing building and the Northern Wyoming Community College District would like to incorporate the parcel into their campus, which is located primarily west of I-90 but is expanding in accordance with the Sheridan College Facilities Master Plan.

The proposed use of the property by Sheridan College is the future Advanced Manufacturing and Applied Sciences Center.
