JCSD1 Board Creates Resource Allocation Committee

During their regular meeting this week, the Johnson County School Board voted to establish a Resource Allocation Committee that will help the board in setting their annual budgets and earmark goals for the district’s strategic plan, according to Board Chairman Travis Pearson.

District Superintendent Charles Auzqui discussed the importance of the committee.

Auzqui added that whether the pot of money goes up or down, the board will know what their priorities and goals are, once set by them based on the committee’s recommendations.

The committee consists of Committee Chair Lynette Fox, Pearson, Dave Belus, and Marcia Goddard.
