City, Other Agencies Prepping for Possible Mobile Testing Center for COVID-19

The City of Buffalo has moved to pre-approved a road closure and clear other red tape in case a mobile test center for COVID-19 is needed in the city.
That is according to Buffalo Mayor Shane Schrader, who gives more information on the possible test center.
Mayor Schrader said there is no specific plan to put a test center in Buffalo at this time, but the city wanted to be prepared in the event one is needed.
Johnson
County Emergency Management Coordinator Marilyn Connolly said the
Emergency Operations Center and the Johnson County Healthcare Center
are coordinating on this project, which is currently only in the
planning stages.
The idea is to be pro-active in case the testing center should become needed in the community.
