Aaron PalmerSo you have cold or flu-like symptoms.
What do you do next?
According to the Johnson County Healthcare Center, if you have symptoms related to the corona virus, such as a fever of 100.4 or higher, sore throat, cough, and/or difficulty breathing, there are some steps to take to prevent the possible spread of the virus.
First, those with symptoms should wear a mask and self-isolate until speaking with a healthcare professional.
Second, call the clinic to speak with them about your symptoms, even after hours.
Third, the JCHC has implemented visiting restrictions and are screening people as they enter the facility, so allow extra time for the screening before any appointments.
Finally, they are asking the public not to visit patients if ill.
We have provided contact information for the clinic here:
To contact the clinic during regular hours, call 307-684-2228; or after hours at 307-684-5521.
