Aaron PalmerAt their regular Tuesday meeting, the Sheridan County Commission will consider an application for Federal funding for their 2024 CMAQ (Congestion Mitigation Air Quality) project.
Also on the agenda is consideration of awarding the bid to Fremont Motors for a 2023 RAM 2500 diesel pickup for the County Road & Bridge department.
They will consider a Cooperative Agreement with the Wyoming State Office of Lands and Investments, Forestry Division for a fuels reduction grant in Little Bighorn River Canyon.
They will also consider a contract amendment with the Department of Family Services for the Fiscal Year 2024 Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Community Partnership Initiative.
The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday morning in the Second Floor Board Room, #220, in the Sheridan County Courthouse Addition.
The public is welcome and invited to attend.

I know the county is flush with money, but buying a 3 or 4 year old, used truck versus buying new; would save taxpayers tens of thousand of dollars. I know I’d consider that option if I were spending my own money.
