The Sheridan County YMCA’s Styku 3D Body Scanner is open and scheduling appointments.

During an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program, YMCA Executive Director Liz Cassiday said during construction the space containing the scanner had to be utilized for other reasons. With the conclusion of that needed use, body scanning is back in full force.

The Styku 3D Body Scanner is a two piece device, the scanner and a platform. People seeking a scan stand on a rotating platform while being scanned. The results allow Y patrons to learn more about their own body and have a baseline to set future goals for a more healthy lifestyle.

Cassiday said patrons can pay for a one time use of the scanner giving them a baseline to work from or sign-up for multiple scans to track progress, working in conjunction with their own health journey.
