JCSD1 Board Awards Contract for New Chromebooks

The Board of Trustees for Johnson County School District 1 reviewed proposals to provide 200 Chromebooks to the district.

The winning proposal came from Computer Professionals Unlimited of Casper out of six scored by the district.

A number of factors went into the grading system, not just costs, to determine the best proposal, according to Superintendent Charles Auzqui.

The board awarded the contract to CPU, who will provide the Chromebooks along with Google Management Licensing for each device for a total of just under $73,000.
