Buffalo Council Passes Deer Park Annexation on Second Read

Ordinance No. 1414, which will annex the Deer Park Addition into the City of Buffalo passed its second reading during this week’s Buffalo City Council meeting.

The Deer Park Addition is a private section of land located just north of Highway 16 east of Buffalo, off of Deer Park Road along Clear Creek.

It will take a third reading at their next meeting April 4 before the annexation is complete.

Also considered by the council was an appointment to the 1% Optional Sales Tax Board.

Approved was Karri White to an open seat on the board for a four-year term.

Mayor Shane Schrader also announced that the next Planning & Zoning Board meeting will be March 28 at 1 p.m.; the next City/County meeting will be April 18; and next month’s City Council Meetings will be the April 4 and 18.
