Many residents have committed to getting in shape and began their journey at the beginning of the year with resolutions.
The Sheridan County YMCA offers two separate classes that instruct residents on the best way to develop a workout routine and more, known as Fitness 101 and LIVESTRONG.
For those individuals that have finished Fitness 101 and wish to move onto the next step, the Y will offer FITLYFE, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12:15 p.m. — 1:15 p.m.
YMCA Executive Director Liz Cassiday announced the course on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program.
The course will offer a full-body workout with cardio and strength with a variety of exercises. Exercises are designed to increase cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength and increased balance to help improve movements of daily living.
