Commission Adopts Revised Emergency Operations Plan

Sheridan County’s Commissioners have voted to adopt the revised County Emergency Operations Plan, as recommended by County Emergency Management Coordinator Jesse Ludikhuize.

He explained more about the revised plan.

Ludikuize said the revised plan broke down the base plan so each of the agencies have a specific, defined role in any type of emergency and how they respond to them.

He said they developed some relationships that didn’t exist before and strengthened others that already existed.

The plan is complete and will be available on the county’s Emergency Management website once it is published.
