Clearmont Historical Group to Honor Women Veterans

The Clearmont Historical Group will be honoring women veterans this year for the Veterans’ Day program at the Clearmont Community Center at 1:30 on Friday, November 11.

According to Sandy Hinz, Clearmont Historic group, “We are hoping to have 3-4 veterans to speak in addition to our members who will speak for those who have passed.

“There will be a table set up with photos and stories of our women veterans as well as photos of memorials around our country. At this time, we are not planning a flag ceremony.”

The Clearmont Historical Group will be serving refreshments afterwards.
