Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Feb. 7, 1920.

Promptly at 3 o’clock this afternoon, accompanied by the rhythmic rattle of drums, 20 great trucks wheeled into line in front of the City Hall for the first parade ever held in Wyoming for the purpose of stimulating the ship-by-truck movement.

Felix Kennedy, for many years master mechanic for the Burlington railroad, died at his home at 704 North Main street at 10:30 o’clock last night. Death was due to apoplexy and came suddenly.

Buy in quantities and save money at the Basket Store next week. Twenty pounds of apples and five and a half dozen oranges will be just $1 each.
