Playland schedules will now be posted on the Playland access door in the front lobby, as well as on the YMCA website and are available at the front desk. Sheridan County YMCA Executive Director Liz Cassiday asks parents to note that there is now scheduled Family Play time. The schedule allows YMCA staff to continue to utilize Playland for the many Y youth programs.
Cassiday told listeners of Sheridan Meida’s Public Pulse a little about the new Playland regulations and invited parents to take an active role in play.
A few things parents will need to know:
An individual, 15 years and older, must check out a key to Playland at the Front Desk. The person that has checked out the key will be responsible for its return. Please return the key in a timely manner once you are done playing so it is available for others.
Entrance is through the door in the front lobby.
Individuals 15 years or older must actively supervise at all times.
Parents may not leave children unattended.
Staff ask that key holders do not allow others outside their group into Playland. Y staff will ask all entering Playland to check in at the Front Desk.
Restrooms are located in the front lobby.
Please do not exit through the double hallway doors. They will lock once exited.
The YMCA will not offer supervised play time in the evenings.
