Aaron PalmerThe Sheridan County Commission as accepted a Homeland Security grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) through the Wyoming State Homeland Security Program (SHSP) for fiscal year 2020.
County Emergency Management Coordinator Bruce Edwards explained the grant further.
According to information from the office of Wyoming Secretary of State Edward Buchanan, the grant funding is earmarked to address cyber vulnerability, voter registration systems and management, training, and voting equipment replacement and upgrades.
The amount of the grant award to the county is just over $31,000.
