FFA Alumni Sweethearts and Scholarship Dance Draws Large Crowd
A large crowd filled the gym at the Clear Creek Recreation Center in Clearmont for the FFA Alumni ‘Sweethearts and Scholarships’ Dinner and Dance on February 14. Over 200 people attended.

The event began at 6 p.m. with a cash bar hosted by the Arvada Bar in Arvada, with the dinner following at 7.

FFA Alum Ashlea Bassett talked about the dance.
She said at first they were not going to have a silent auction but added it at the last minute. There were 23 items in the silent auction and 20 in the live auction. Brannian Auction LLC, provide the auctioneer services, with Dan and Jacob Gay taking turns at the microphone and adding their unique style to the event.

Bassett added about where the money raised will be used,

Alum Chris Odegard, who graduated Clearmont High School in 1999, was helping to serve the supper at the event.

Clearmont K-12 School agriculture teacher and Clear Creek FFA advisor Amanda Schmidt said many of the FFA members helped with the event as well.
The Clear Creek FFA Alumni would like to thank all who donated time and items to the dance, meal and auction to make it a success.
