Clearmont Town Council Met Monday
The Clearmont Town Council met on Monday, November 17, with a light agenda. There were three visitors to the meeting, Sheridan County Sheriff Levi Dominguez, and Sheridan County Commissioners Holly Jennings and Mike Arzy.
Mayor Chris Schock reported on the legislative listening session hosted by Arvada-Clearmont School on November 11. He talked about a discussion he had with Representative Marilyn Connolly concerning direct distribution.
Schock reported that there will be a Harvard listening session via zoom on Nov. 20th at 2 p.m. at town hall.
He said the Wednesday morning coffee hour is doing well, and last week there were around ten people attending.
At the October meeting, Schock mentioned that the town should look into purchasing two solar powered speed limit signs to be put at each end of the town.
He talked about the upcoming WAM conference in February. He is planning to attend and urged those council members who plan to attend to let him know so they can be registered and so motel rooms can be booked.
Next meeting will be held on December 15 at town hall.
