CHG Annual Ice Cream Social Sunday

Clearmont Historical Group will hold its fifth annual Ice Cream Social on Sunday, August 3, from 11 until 2 in Branding Iron Park in Clearmont.

In addition, there will be a silent auction fundraiser. There will be many items in the auction this year, including glassware and other items from the old Red Dawg Saloon. The Red Dawg was in the building the Historical Center now occupies.

Other items in the auction will be gift cards, dinosaur teeth casts, a cool puzzle, “307” cutting board by Ira R., books, artwork, and more!

The local AARP chapter again plans to have a table at the event with information about what they offer. CHG recently received a Flagship Grant through the 2025 AARP Community Challenge grant program.

There will also be a drawing for a basket full of many interesting items. Tickets are available for a donation to the Center. Monies raised go to help keep the Center open.

The ice cream sundaes are free, and everyone is welcome.
