Sheridan College Men’s and Women’s Rodeo Team Finishes 10th At 2025 Gillette College Rodeo

Sheridan College Cowboys and Cowgirls resumed the 2024-25 rodeo season in Gillette.

Jake Schlattmann scored 137 points on 2 rides in the saddle bronc riding, good for 6th place on the weekend.

He is currently 4th in the season standings, and a competitor has to be in 3rd place or better at the end of the season, to qualify for the College National Finals Rodeo, which takes place in June at Casper.

Christopher Nelson (Saddle Broncs) and Faith Heim (Barrel Racing) each placed 9th in their respective events this past weekend.

The next scheduled rodeo competition is on March 28-30 at Eastern Wyoming College in Torrington.
