Broncs Face a Tough Opponent / Big Horn on the Road / TR Plays at Home / Broncos Open the NFL Season Sunday at the Giants

BRONC FOOTBALL – The Sheridan Broncs play at Cheyenne Central tomorrow night we will have the game live for you on KWYO and 106.9 FM the First Federal bank and trust pregame show will start at 5:30 kickoff is at 6:00.

The Broncs haven’t given up any points in the first two games as they blew out Laramie and Cheyenne South and one of the big things for the team coming out of those games was to get a lot underclassmen good minutes on the field, Head coach Jeff Mowry.

As they get ready to take on Central tomorrow Mowry says this week the opponent is a whole lot better.

And he says the players will find out what it’s like to play a very good 4-A football team.

RAMS / EAGLES FOOTBALL – The Big Horn Rams travel to play at Wheatland the game kicks off at 6:00 tomorrow and the Tongue River Eagles host Burns kickoff is set for 2:00.

COWBOY FOOTBALL – The Wyoming football Cowboys play at Northern Illinois Saturday.

BRONCO FOOTBALL – The Denver Broncos open the NFL regular season Sunday afternoon at the New York Giants.

VOLLEYBALL – The Lady Bronc volleyball team plays at Kelly Walsh tomorrow and home to play Cody Saturday.

This weekend Big Horn high school is hosting their annual invitational tournament the Tongue River Lady Eagles will play in that event along with the Lady Rams play starts tomorrow.

GOLF – The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers are playing in Cheyenne today and Friday, the state tournament is next week,

SWIMMING / DIVING – The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers will compete in Laramie and Cheyenne tomorrow and Saturday.

TENNIS – The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams play the Gillette schools Saturday to end their regular season. The conference tournament will be played in Sheridan on the 17th and 18th.

X-COUNTRY – The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country runners compete at an invitational hosted by Wyoming Indian high school, it’s a preview of the state championships which will be run on the same course October 23rd.

JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks open the hockey season tomorrow and Saturday hosting games with Helena, Montana they drop the puck in the M&M center at 7:30.
