Troopers Gain a Split With Post 6 / Hawks Junior Hockey Update

TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers split their double header with Cheyenne Post 6 the Troopers took the first game 5-1 to extend their winning streak to ten games. The streak ended with a 13-3 loss in the second game.

The Troops take a 13-5 record into action this weekend they host the Billings Halos and the 406 Flyers tomorrow and Sunday games will be at noon and 2:00.

The Troopers will host another home double header next week on Wednesday against Laramie and the new artificial turf infield is currently being installed at Thorne-Rider stadium.

JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks hockey organization is in the planning stages of hosting a fund raising golf tournament later this summer

The tournament will be played in August 8th at the Powder Horn here’s Hawks Head coach Andy Schieb.

The Hawks season ended as the playoffs were about to start three months ago with the rest of the sports world and Schieb says it’s been a strange time but they are just trying to make the best of the situation and wait and see what comes this fall.
