Sheridan HS Volleyball: The regular season for Wyoming High School Volleyball wraps up this week.

While the #1 seed for the upcoming regional tournament maybe out of reach for Sheridan, the #2 seed is still up for grabs.

The Lady Broncs play their home finale this Friday vs. Campbell County, and conclude the regular season on Saturday at Thunder Basin.

Sophomore Chalaya Bales says the team is still trying to realize its full potential, and get to that point.

Sheridan Head Coach Dani Torpey says the team has had to make a few late season adjustments on the fly, but is pleased with how the team has adapted.

The Lady Broncs haven’t qualified for the state tournament since 2016.

Arvada-Clearmont HS Volleyball: Arvada-Clearmont hasn’t been to the state tournament since 2018.

This past weekend, A-C dropped back-to-back 5-sets games at home, which for some teams can be demoralizing.

Coach Justin Kidneigh says that’s not the case for the Lady Panthers, because sometimes a situation like that is needed, in order for the team to get over the hump and learn how to win.

Arvada-Clearmont will conclude the regular season this Friday at home vs. Hulett and on Saturday at home vs. Midwest.

Last week was Mountain West Conference Media Days in Las Vegas.

UW was predicted to finish 9th, ahead of Fresno State and Air Force.

Boise State was predicted to finish 1st.

No one from the Pokes was selected for the pre-season all Mountain West Conference team.

Meanwhile, the Wyoming Cowgirls will play a home exhibition game on Friday, November 1st vs. Chadron State.

The media predicted that the Brown and Gold will finish 2nd in the conference behind 3-time defending conference champ UNLV.
