State Soccer, Track and Softball Starts Today / Troopers Back at Home Saturday / Rockies Take two out of Three From the Reds

TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers are set to host a double header with the Billings Expos Saturday afternoon with the first game to start at 3:00.

Head coach Austin Cowen talks about getting more experience over the next several weeks and getting a couple of their veterans back on the field is key to the next few weeks.

They have already played the Billing’s American Legion teams the Scarlets and Royals and Saturday they play one of the many club teams in Billings and Austin says the club teams in Billings have very good players as well.

SPRING SPORTS CULMINATING EVENTS – The Wyoming high school state soccer championships begin today in Rock Springs, the Sheridan Lady Broncs open the bracket at 4:00 this afternoon against Jackson, while the Broncs will play early as they take on Natrona county at 9:00 AM.

The all-class Wyoming state track and field championships get underway today in Casper.

The Wyoming girls fast pitch state softball tournament opens today in Gillette.

ROCKIES BASEBALL – The Colorado Rockies beat Cincinnati 11-5 last night they are off today and will open a road series at the Texas Rangers tomorrow, you can hear the Rockies this season on Smart Talk 106.3 FM.
