Troopers Host Gillette Wednesday / Regional Soccer Starts Thursday / Regional Track and Field Opens Friday

TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers host the Gillette Roughriders tomorrow night it will be a single nine inning game the first pitch is scheduled for 5:30 and we will have the game live for on 14-10 AM and 106.9 FM we will also have the games live on our video web stream at sheridanmedia.com.

SOCCER – The 4A high school soccer season has concluded, but some teams, in particular the Sheridan Lady Broncs had to play a flurry of games late in the season thanks to old man winter.

About 1-to-1 1/2 weeks ago, the Lady Broncs went through a stretch where they played four games in five days, and two of those games went to overtime against the same opponent (Cheyenne East).

After that they had a couple of days to prepare for Thunder Basin, and they were able to hang around with the undefeated Lady Boltz until the final minute.

Head coach Kevin Rizer says that stretch of games convinced him that the girls are battle tested.

Sheridan hosts the 4A east regional tournament this weekend all of Thursday’s girls games will be played at Big Horn.

The Lady Broncs play Campbell county in a loser out game, scheduled to begin at 5pm.

The Broncs will take on Campbell at 5:00 at Homer Scott stadium

Semi finals will be played Friday at Sheridan high school and the finals and consolation games will be played Saturday.

REGIONAL TRACK AND FIELD – Track and field regional meets start Friday the Broncs and Lady Broncs will compete at Thunder Basin high school while Big Horn, Tongue River and Arvada / Clearmont will all be in Torrington
