Troopers win two on the Road / Rockies Fall at Seattle / SHS set to Host two Track Meets This Week

TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers opened their baseball season with a double header sweep at Powell Sunday winning by score of 9-1 and 13-7.

This weekend the Troops will host round robin games with Post 6 from Cheyenne and the Billings Scarlets on Saturday and Sunday.

SOCCER – The Lady Bronc soccer team had their game at at Cheyenne East canceled Friday, they did play Laramie Saturday and lost 3-0 today the Lady Broncs and the Broncs play at Thunder Basin is Gillette.

TRACK AND FIELD – In track and field action this week Sheridan high school will host the annual “Gary Benson” Border War invitational the meet has been moved from tomorrow to Thursday to allow for the ground to dry in some of the field event areas at Homer Scott stadium.

The annual “Dan Hansen” invitational is still scheduled to get underway with events Saturday morning at 10:00.

ROCKIES BASEBALL – The Colorado Rockies lost 1-0 at the Seattle Mariners Sunday, tomorrow night the Rox open a home series with Pittsburgh first pitch is at 6:40 you can hear Rockies baseball this season live on Smart Talk 106.3 FM.
