Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

SOCCER – The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams had a little of everything this past weekend the Broncs split matches with Cheyenne East and Central they beat the T-Birds 2-1 in OT and losing 2-1 against Central, the Lady Broncs beat Central and had their match with East called off because of poor playing conditions.

It’s Gillette week this week, they play at Thunder Basin tomorrow and then Campbell county Thursday weather permitting.

TRACK AND FIELD – In track and field action Tongue River, Big Horn and Arvada / Clearmont all competed at a meet in Greybull, full results can be seen right now on the sports page at sheridanmedia.com.

The Broncs and Lady Broncs were off they compete in Spearfish, South Dakota Friday.

GOLF – The spring golf season for the Broncs and Lady Broncs is scheduled to start start in Worland Thursday.

TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers are getting ready to open up the American Legion baseball season will will start two weeks from this Sunday.

The Troops open the season at home with a double header with Powell Sunday April 16th.

ROCKIES BASEBALL – The Colorado Rockies split their four game series at San Diego, they play two at the LA Dodgers starting tonight at 8:10, the Rox home opener is Thursday afternoon when they ope a four game series with the Nationals.
