Bronc / Lady Bronc Wrestlers Open the new Season Thursday / Cowboy Hoops Back on the Court Tonight

BRONC / LADY BRONC WRESTLING – The Sheridan Bronc wrestlers will open their season Thursday hosting a dual with Worland JV’s start at 5:00 with the varsity going at 6:00.

This will be the first ever season of girls varsity wrestling Wyoming as the WHSAA has sanctioned the sport for the first time.

Sheridan high school Head coach Tyson Shatto says it’s been a long time coming.

On the Bronc side of the mat Tyson says they have a lot of expectations going into this season.

And what he is looking for from the wrestlers over the next few weeks.

BRONC / LADY BRONC HOOPS – The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams tip off at a three day event in Riverton starting Thursday we will broadcast those games on KWYO 14-10 AM and 106.9 FM.

SWIMMING / DIVING – Bronc swimmers and divers will have their first competition in Laramie this weekend.

NORDIC SPORTS – Sheridan high school’s Nordic ski teams has their first competition in Laramie this weekend.

TRACK AND FIELD – Indoor track and field will start workouts the first week in January with their first meet January14th.

BH HOOPS – The Big Horn Rams and Lady Rams basketball teams open their season this week at a tournament hosted by Burns high school.

TR HOOPS – The Tongue River Eagles and Lady Eagles basketball teams start the season at home Saturday hosting Lovell.

JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks are back in the M&M center this weekend hosting the Great Falls Americans at Friday night’s game it’s volunteer, booster and billet recognition night, Saturday night they are hosting a toy drive, bring a toy worth at least 10 dollars and get into the game free both games start at 7:30.

COWBOY BASKETBALL – The Wyoming basketball cowboys play tonight at home against Texas A&M Commerce, we will have the game live for you Cowboy pregame starts at 6:30 with the tip at 7:00 on KWYO 14-10 AM and 106.9 FM.
