SHS Athletics Adds Lady Bronc Wrestling / Football Playoff Semi Finals set for Friday / State Swimming and State Volleyball Open Thursday

LADY BRONC WRESTLING – Sheridan high school will have Lady Bronc wrestling for the first time this coming season, the school district #2 school board approved the new program at a meeting last week and high school Activities Director Casey Garnhart says it will be another great program for students at Sheridan high school.

And he says it’s great for the girls to get another opportunity to compete.

RAMS FOOTBALL – The Big Horn Rams host Lyman Friday in the 2-A semi finals, kickoff is at noon we will have the game live for you on KWYO AM 14-10 and 106.9 FM.

BRONC FOOTBALL – The Sheridan Broncs will host Cheyenne Central we will have the game live for you Friday night, the First Federal bank and trust pregame show will start at 5:30 with kickoff at 6:00. you can hear it on KWYO 14-10 AM and 106.9 FM and our video web stream at sheridanmedia.com.

And Casey Garnhart says their is nothing like home football playoff games.

SWIMMING / DIVING – The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers will compete at the state championships this week in Laramie prelims get underway Thursday.

VOLLEYBALL – The state volleyball tournament starts Thursday in Casper, Big Horn will open with Kemmerer and Tongue River faces Rocky Mountain.

JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks and Gillette will play another home and home series this week, they play in Gillette Friday then at the M&M center Saturday night at 7:30.

COWBOY FOOTBALL – The Wyoming Cowboys have won three in a row and have a break they are idle this week and will play at Colorado state November 12th.

BRONCO FOOTBALL – The Denver Broncos have their bye week then a road game at the Titans Novemer 13th.
