Garnhart Takes over as AD at Sheridan High School / Troopers v Gillette Thursday night / Rockies Fall to the Padres

AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers are 33-11 they host games this week Thursday through Monday to finish the regular season

They host Gillette Thursday the double header will start at 5:00 then a single nine inning game with the 406 Flyers Friday evening at 5:00.

Saturday the play two with Spearfish, South Dakota starting at 5:00, Sunday the Flyers come back for two games starting at 1:00 and Monday they close out the regular season with a double header with Rock Springs starting at 11:00 am.

The Sheridan Jets are 22-18 after sweeping two from Buffalo Monday, they play at Gillette tomorrow.

The class “C” Wyoming American Legion state baseball tournament starts Thursday in Cheyenne, Sheridan will open the tournament against Casper Thursday afternoon.

WYO RODEO – WYO rodeo week really kicks into gear tonight with the annual boot kickoff in Whitney Commons starting at 4:30 and Barrel race slack in the arena at the fairgrounds tonight at 6:00.

NEW AD AT SHERIDAN HIGH SCHOOL – Casey Garnhart has started his duties officially this week as Activities Director at Sheridan high school.

We sat down Monday to visit and he says after serving as Don Julian’s assistant AD then moving on to take the AD role at Rawlins high school, it’s nice to be back to a familiar place with familiar faces.

And Garnhart talks about what he learned being in Rawlins and looking ahead to a new school year.
