Sheridan Troopers Play in Bozeman, Montana Today / The Jets are in Cody / Rockies Drop Another Game at LA

TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers are 30-9 overall and travel to Bozeman, Montana to start play at a tournament today.

They open with two games against Blackfoot, Idaho and Brewster, Washington.

Tomorrow they play Dickinson, North Dakota and finish up against Bozeman.

The Troopers are coming off a four win tournament in Billings last week and Head coach Ben Phillips says they played very well.

And he says it’s more of the same this week with new opponents.

The next home games for the Troops will be next Thursday against Gillette.

ROCKIES BASEBALL – The Colorado Rockies lost at the Dodgers 2-1 Wednesday, they play again tonight as they open a series at Arizona first pitch at 7:40, you can hear Rockies baseball on Smart Talk 106.3 FM.

GOLF – The Sheridan high school booster club is hosting their annual golf tournament a week from Sunday at the Powder horn, it’s a four person team scramble the fee is 125 dollars per player, to register your teams contact the golf shop at the Powder horn.

The Sheridan Junior Hawks hockey program will host their golf tournament at the Powder horn next month, the tournament is a four person team scramble set for August 12th, to register your teams go to the Hawks web page sheridanhawks.com and follow the link.
