Trooper Baseball Hosts Evanston Friday Evening / Milward Simpson Award and Sheridan County Have a Long History

TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers are 17-5 as the prepare for two league games at home Friday against Evanston.

SIMPSON AWARDS – The annual Milward Simpson award finalists were announced this week with two Sheridan Broncs making the finalist they are Carter McComb and Texas Tanner.

So we went back to look at past Sheridan county winners of this great honor in all 10 students from Sheridan county have won the Simpson since it was first established in 1976.

Sheridan high school has had eight recipients including Lady Broncs Mila Rogers 1982, Becky Kopsa 1992 Kayla Woodward 2011 and Robbi Ryan 2016.

Sheridan Bronc winners Blaine Phillips 1992, Jeff Martini 2000, Austin Woodward 2010 and Parker Christensen in 2019.

Big Horn high school has two winners Katie Cox in 2002 and Kolby Wollenman 2011.
